Actor Daniel Dae Kim, 39, of ABC TV show "Lost," was arrested Thursday, October 25, 2007, at 2:30am, for suspicion of driving under the influence in Hawaii. Mr. Kim was "cooperative and respectful" to everyone involved according to Honolulu Police Department Captain Frank Fujii. In November, 2005, "Lost" actresses Michelle Rodriquez and Cynthia Watros were arrested, in Hawaii, for failing field sobriety tests. Ms. Rodriquez was sentenced to time in jail and Ms. Watros was fined.

The US Department of Transportation (DOT) fined JetBlue Airways ($30,000.) and Hawaiian Airlines ($50,000.) for failing to properly disclose their on-time arrival performance data on specific flights when the information was requested by DOT staffers posing as consumers during telephone reservation inquiries. Under DOT regulations, airlines must disclose their on-time arrival performance data to any consumer who requests the information during the course of a reservation.
The DOT Enforcement Office added that in two of its calls, the airlines' reservation agents put the DOT staffers on hold and failed to return to provide the information. In their defense, JetBlue Airways and Hawaiian Airlines stated that their noncompliance was unintentional.

Maui Circuit Court Judge Joseph Cardoza ruled this week that the Hawaii SuperFerry must cease operations until an environmental assessment is completed of changes made to the Maui Kahului Harbor to accommodate the vessel. The judge also ruled that the Hawaii Department of Transportation's operating agreement with the SuperFerry's owners was not valid.
